Where do u go when u need to be alone?

I know where I go

It’s a sanctuary where no one can come to interrupt me

Talk to me

Or even acknowledge my existence.

I love the place where I am alone

The place the rest of the world forgot

Where I can sit and look over the landscape

And ponder my existence in this world.

I cannot be sad where I go

Only content

Even if the world I am in is upside down

I am happy there

Content with life.

So I sit and ponder in this

Place that overlooks it all.
